Part of the problem was that the paper I used wasn't a good choice. Instead of using hot press, I used a Strathmore paper that has a texture to it, and it affected the lines to a great extent. It also didn't want to let me get the colors as dark as I'd like. It just didn't take the watercolor the way I expected.
So, I'll chalk this one up to a learning experience, but for some reason I still like this in some ways, and I find myself looking over at it every now and then, just to look at it again. It took longer than it should have, considering it's only about 4 X 5 inches.
There's no blue in this picture. I didn't adjust the photo properly. What looks blue is actually gray. Sorry.

| If I do any more work on this, it will be to try to get the central form more upright, rather than looking like it's lying down. I'm a bit mystified as to how to do that, to be honest. |
