Just a quick entry here:
Vistaprint is one of those online POD (print on demand) services. They will print your design or your photos on just about anything you'd ever want: Coffee mugs, calendars, greeting cards, t-shirts, etc.
Recently I ordered four sets of postcards from them, each with a photo of one of my pictures on the front. Three of the four were printed well; the fourth was awful, with the colors nowhere near those in the original.
Vistaprint says they have a 100% satisfaction guarantee. I used their online contact form to let them know I was disappointed in part of my order. I didn't ask for a refund. I did ask them if they ever compare the printed product to the source photo before shipping.
A day later they e-mailed me to tell me they were re-printing the postcard with the sub-standard printing, at no cost to me. I should receive the replacement cards next week. I couldn't be happier, and I won't even care if the second try is not perfect. It was their responsiveness that mattered.
So, you may add Vistaprint to the list that includes Dick Blick among those online retailers that actually seem to take customer service seriously. I have only ordered from Vistaprint one previous time, but I know I'll order from them again and, as you can see, I won't hesitate to recommend them.
