A couple dark background pictures from a few months ago

I really have to fiddle with the levels, contrast, saturation, color balance, etc. when trying to get a photo of the dark background stuff. I think my cheap camera gets confused by the pictures or something.
This is one I did a little while ago. It's about 12 X 15 inches. This is one where I wish I could have used the background for something else. A near miss, in other words.

This is one that I couldn't get the camera to focus on properly (especially the top half). It's small, 4 X 6 inches. It will make a nice card to send to someone.
